International Mabel Day XXV
Sunday December 7th 2025
Mabel's annual tour of Oxford city-centre pubs is back.
- Meet in the Royal Blenheim, to begin dancing at 11:30 - this is earlier than usual! The Blenheim will be open from around 10:30am. They claim they definitely will have tea/coffee, this year, as well as all the usual pubstuff.
- The final details of which pubs, and who goes where, haven't been quite finalised yet. We're sure some of the pubs will look familiar, though! Doubtless there will also be the usual drama of pubs changing their minds, suddenly remembering they're showing important Sportsball of some some sort, etc.
- The various tours will meet up at the Kings Arms in order to re-commence dancing at 3:30pm. Mabel will bring home-made cake.
Getting There
The postcode for The Royal Blenheim is OX1 1PT. It is about ten minutes walk from the Gloucester Green bus station, about 15 minutes from the train station and easily accessed by the Park & Ride buses.
If you are planning to drive into the city centre, please be advised that parking is a bit of a nightmare and Oxford now has a congestion charge. On-street parking is metered and for a limited time. Please consider the Park & Ride as an option!
